As I stood over my shot on the final hole, my focus was very tight on the bottom of the hole. I knew I had to hole it out to make the cut. I swung through to a solid finish and my ball was heading directly for the flag...it had a chance...but didnt go in. I tapped in for my first birdie of the round...so disappointing, but at the same time I realized that my focus has been much too broad. All week I have been just trying to hit good shots. How about making the shot!!!?? It worked on the final hole this week...what if I apply that focus for all my shots?? Smallest possible target!!! Next week I will dial my focus in much closer. Keep following me for more birdies to come.

Great start...disappointing finish!!!!

Love Hartford, CT...good people and nice courses. Off to a terrific start with a 66...then shot 73-73 on Saturday and Sunday (par 70) Ball striking was pure on Friday and slowly deteriorated on the weekend. However, the real culprit was my putter... 29, 36, and 34 putts respectively. Then to top it off, I bogeyed the last hole to miss top 30 by one shot (if you wear the Duramed Visor on Sat/Sun and finish in the top 30, you earn $50 from Duramed)

Jody caddied for me and he did a terrific job as he always does. Thanks Babe.

This week is Concord, NH. Looks like we will be getting quite wet here at Beaver Meadow, the oldest course in New Hampshire. Im usually a good mudder. Keep following for great things to come!!!!
