Off to a decent start to the 2015 golf season with a 21st and 54th place finish out west. My year will consist of a full Symetra Tour schedule and a few LPGA tournaments. Of course, Ill be spreading Narcolepsy Awareness while I continue to Swing for Sleep.
The west coast swing on the Symetra Tour began with a breath of fresh air in Phoenix and ended with cold, wet rain in beautiful Southern California. It was terrific to see green grass in Phoenix and finally get a little color on my OB stake legs. The cob webs came off pretty good and I was happy with my start to the season 70-72-70 for a 21st place finish. Southern California wasn’t quite as pleasant…Cold weather and a hilly, tough golf course. I was concerned about about physical fatigue. Ended up making the cut and moving up the board on Sunday to 54th place. Worst weather condtition Ive ever played in. Thank goodness my putter wasn’t as cold as I was.
Happy to report 15 birdies and 1 eagle for “Swinging for Sleep”
